Little known but sought after neighborhood of Weatherstone in Highlands Ranch saw a surge in prices in 2022 over 2021. Average year-to-date prices were up 29.1% over the year-to-date average in 2021. The average price in Weatherstone for the year ending 2022 was $1,439,285 as compared to 2021’s average of $1,114,950. This small enclave of homes just to the west of Backcountry affords its homeowners some seclusion but good strong growth. The average days on market before moving into a pending/under contract, like most of the metro area rose to 14 days, considerably better than other areas in the South/Southwest luxury market place. The average price per finished square foot in 2022 was $309.40, up 21.3% over 2021 and the least expensive home sold was at $251 per finished square foot and the most expensive home sold in Weatherstone reached $373 a finished square foot.
